Opt for an immediate payout or sell with us on consignment and we'll handle everything.

Consignment

We process all orders placed through the Card Shed, but do provide a mix of inventory from our own stock and other consignees.

You have the option to send or drop off your collection and we'll sell it for you, at your desired price.

We do everything:

  • Photography & Product listings
  • Secure card storage
  • Advertising
  • Customer service
  • Payment processing
  • Order shipping & packaging

Your role:

  • Drop off, or ship your cards to us
  • Optionally price your items as desired (A form will be provided, or label your cards)
  • Optionally give us a discount % on each item so we can offer sales/promotions if it fails to sell
  • Receive a weekly/monthly payout of your sales minus Card Shed commission

Immediate Sale

For certain collections we can also purchase the entire collection at
between 60-100% of market value, depending on the cards, hits, popularity, condition, etc.

If you'd prefer an instant payout, this can be an option for you. With larger collections we may pay for initial
delivery, or come and collect.

Frequently asked questions
Consignment Fees?

Our default consignment rates are 14% + $0.30 per order. If you sell multiple cards in one customer order, you will only be charged $0.30 once, to cover payment processing costs.

This fee covers the following:

  • Outbound shipping & handling from The Card Shed (Packaging, shipping expense, postage drop off, insurance, etc)
  • Ongoing card/collection storage
  • Initial listing and photography
  • Advertising of your products on our site, social media, paid ads, etc.
  • Payment processing (Which can be as high as 2.7% + $0.30)
Upfront costs?

There are no upfront costs for consignment payable to The Card Shed. However, if you are unable to locally drop off your cards, you will be required to ship your cards to us for listing, storage and photography.

We do not cover your inbound shipping, except for large consignments
What cards can I sell on consignment?

We are currently only taking Pokemon TCG Singles and on consignment. We will accept more TCG's in the future. Each card must meet the following criteria:

  • EX/RR+ rarity and above OR value greater than $5 AUD
  • LP-NM condition or greater (Some exceptions made for high value cards)
  • Value less than $1,000 per card (Subject to change)

Our slab criteria is slightly different:

  • PSA or BGS Graded Slab only
  • Minimum value of $100 per slab
  • Maximum value of $1,000 per slab
Do I have to price my cards?

We strongly suggest you price your cards so you receive what price you're chasing. However if you're just wanting to clear out some of your collection, we can price your cards at current market value for you (or market value +/- 5% for example).

In this instance we would use the current price charting price, which may not always be accurate to the Australian market. As such it is suggested you price your own cards if you have the time.

All listed cards must be set to at least $0.50, ideally $1+
Can I change the price later?

You are provided with a portal where you can view your sales along with current products listed online.

You may request a price change on one or multiple of your products. We will provide you with a spreadsheet to adjust pricing.
How can I get started?

Contact us below and leave your phone number and email address and we'll be in touch. Optionally leave some details in the comments about your collection. We'll give you a ring or email you to discuss further and get you on-boarded.

Once your collection has been received, we'll set you up with a consignment login so you can see which products have sold, and view payouts, etc.
